Steps we took on this kitchen project:

The homeowner reached out to us with a clear goal: update their outdated kitchen and create a more open and modern space that could better accommodate their lifestyle. The original kitchen had limited storage, older appliances, dark cabinetry, and poor lighting, which made the space feel cramped and closed off from the rest of the home.

We began by conducting an in-home consultation to understand the client’s needs, aesthetic preferences, and budget. After reviewing their ideas and evaluating the existing layout, we recommended opening up the space by removing a partial wall between the kitchen and dining area. This change dramatically improved the flow of the room and allowed more natural light to spread throughout the space.

Next, we addressed the cabinetry and storage. We installed custom Shaker-style cabinets in a soft white finish with soft-close drawers and doors, providing a timeless look with much-improved functionality. To maximize storage, we added a pantry cabinet and deep drawers for pots, pans, and small appliances.

For the countertops, the client chose a beautiful quartz surface in a subtle marble pattern, offering both elegance and durability. A matching quartz backsplash was added behind the range for a seamless and easy-to-clean design. The kitchen island was rebuilt to include additional storage, a pull-out trash unit, and an extended countertop for barstool seating—perfect for casual meals or entertaining guests.

Lighting played a big role in the transformation. We installed recessed LED lights in the ceiling and pendant lights above the island to provide ample, energy-efficient lighting. Under-cabinet lighting was added to improve task lighting and highlight the new countertops and backsplash.

To finish the project, we installed luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the kitchen and adjoining areas to create a cohesive, modern look. Stainless steel appliances and brushed nickel hardware completed the update, giving the space a clean, polished feel.

The final result was a bright, spacious, and functional kitchen that exceeded the client’s expectations. They were thrilled with the outcome and now enjoy a kitchen that truly reflects their style and supports their everyday needs.
